Library materials of unassessable value, collected and maintained at National Library (Yangon) had converted to Digital Form as e-Book and e-Periodical for the convenience of readers and researchers and thus digitalization was made since September 2010.

With the initiative of National Library and cooperation of National University of Art & Culture (Yangon) and Department of Archaeology, National Museum and Library, Post Graduate Diploma in Library Management Course (No.1) has now been running in process for academic year 2010-2011. Theoretical sutdy shall take (10) months and in the remaining (2) months, trainees shall have to compile thesis and attend practical training at the libraries. A total of (19) trainees are now attending this first and foremost course.
